Bring a scenario to the demo

Choose a common appointment and describe it clearly: service length, consultation time, processing time, and any add-ons. Ask the vendor to show the booking, a reschedule, and a cancellation. A consistent scenario makes it easier to compare the workflow you actually need.

Build your own cost column

Our worksheet headings are subscription, extra users, payment fees, marketplace charges, messaging, hardware, and migration. Enter only charges confirmed by the vendor, including any conditions. An unknown amount should stay unknown rather than becoming a zero in the comparison.

Ask about the exit as well as the start

Request a sample export of appointment and client data, an explanation of what can be exported, and the cancellation terms. Check how staff access and permissions work. These are questions to put to a supplier, not claims about the features of any named system.

Write down your decision rule

Choose the few requirements that determine whether a platform can work for your salon. Then separate those from preferences. The original software research remains available in the library, but its prices and product details need fresh checking before a purchasing decision. We have not tested or ranked these systems in this edition.
